This chic pipe is handmade using bamboo for the stem and dried tagua seed (vegetable ivory) for the chamber. The tagua seed is skillfully shaped into a sphere using a lathe, then precisely drilled and joined to the bamboo tube. A cork grip is added to the stem for enhanced comfort and handling. Gorgeous, practical, and uncommon, makes the perfect gift. Measures approximately 5” in length.
These pipes are sustainable, organic, vegan and biodegradable, pure eco-friendly vegetable ivory (When ripe, tagua seeds are harvested and sun-dried to become rock-solid, resembling ivory in color, texture, and hardness, hence their nickname: “Vegetable Ivory”).
